Over 500,000 Americans experienced homelessness in 2019. Resources like transitional and temporary housing, job training and access to emergency needs is helpful—but more than anything, motivation to help end the cycle of homelessness and poverty is the greatest resource. Homeless Garden Project provides transitional programs and volunteer programs for those experiencing homelessness.

Extra-Ordinary Birthdays—College Park, MD

Extra-Ordinary Birthdays helps children of families living in shelters feel special on their birthdays by creating personalized birthday parties for them.

Henry Street Settlement—New York, NY

For over 100 years, Henry Street Settlement has provided services to homeless New Yorkers like transitional housing, mental health clinic, job training and more.
