The Virtual Job and Internship Fair is just over a week away! Do you want to brush up on your networking skills, learn how to get your CPT, or perfect your resume so you can make a great impression with employers?
Attend these workshops specifically for International Students as a part of our International Student Career Success Week! Don’t forget to register in advance for each Zoom session you’re interested in attending!

Networking and Communicating with Employers at the Job and Internship Fair: Tues., Sept. 1 at Noon
We will review and practice strategies that can be used to enhance your networking and communication with employers at the Job and Internship Fair, including the 30-second pitch.

How to get your CPT ASAP: Wed., Sept. 2 at Noon
Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is an off-campus employment authorization for international students in F-1 status that allows students to do an internship or other temporary employment experience. Come to this workshop to learn the regulations governing CPT, when it can be used, and how to submit a successful application! This workshop will be led by an advisor from International Student and Scholar Services.

Creating a US-Style Resume: Thursday, Sept. 3 at Noon
Learn the necessary components of a strong US-style resume for students in all majors. Topics to be covered include formatting, appropriate resume section headings, and using action verbs to highlight skills.
