Make a Friend and Develop Intercultural Communication Skills through the ELI Conversation Pairs Program

Do you have a love for learning about other cultures and different perspectives? Do you love socializing and helping others? You may be interested in applying for the English Language Institute’s Conversation Pairs Program! In the ELI Conversation Pairs Program you will connect with an international student who is seeking to improve their conversational English and also acclimate to life in the US. The learning and sharing is mutual! The deadline to apply is Monday, September  14th at midnight.

The experience is fun, rewarding and a great way to continue developing Global and Intercultural Fluency, one of the career readiness competencies identified by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.  NACE defines Global/Intercultural Fluency as: “Value, respect, and learn from diverse cultures, races, ages, genders, sexual orientations, and religions. The individual demonstrates, openness, inclusiveness, sensitivity, and the ability to interact respectfully with all people and understand individuals’ differences.”
