This past semester, I studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain. Staying with a host family, taking courses in Spanish, and volunteering at an English-language learning school were all experiences that I will never forget. Now that I am back at Binghamton, myself, as well as many peers who studied abroad, are wondering how to market our experience.
Reading the attached blogpost from gooverseas.com helped me identify the transferable professional skills that I gained from my time in Spain. The post provides step-by-step instructions for including studying abroad on your resume. I hope the article will provide returned students and students thinking about studying abroad with similar insight.
