Pre-Health Career Development Workshop sponsored by POPTA

The Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development invites all students interested in applying for further education in the healthcare field to attend the Pre-Health Career Development Workshop. The program will provide insight on how to prepare the materials needed to apply to further education in the healthcare field. We will go over how to create a strong resume and personal statement, growing your network, and how to have a successful zoom interview. This program is sponsored by the Pre-Occupational and Physical Therapy Association (POPTA).

The Pre-Occupational and Physical Therapy Association (POPTA) is a relatively new organization, at just about three years old. The mission of POPTA is to provide students the opportunity to discover more about the disciplines and careers of occupational and physical therapy and to prepare them with the tools needed to be successful in furthering their education and developing their careers. We accomplish this by hosting panels of current PTs and OTs as well as accepted students, providing resources on shadowing, holding crash courses on the process of applying to PT and OT school, and much more!
