Since graduating from Binghamton University in 2012, Sharisse has become an accomplished educator, working for Teach for America, Ascend Public Charter Schools, and the Charter High School for Law and Social Justice. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Secondary Science at the Relay Graduate School of Education, as well as the Executive Director and Founder of P.U.L.S.E. in the City, Inc.

About Sharisse:

  • Founded two student organizations at Binghamton University: P.U.L.S.E. & WESPEAK BU and founded the nonprofit chapter of P.U.L.S.E. in NYC in 2015
  • Loves to travel
  • Loves candles and is currently creating a candle line
  • Is passionate about wellness and self-care, and is documenting her self-care journey in her blog “Self-Centered by Sharisse Chante”
