Top 6 TikTok Accounts to Follow for Aspiring Lawyers

If you’re anything like me, you get easily carried away on TikTok and frequently find yourself spending too much time scrolling through the For You page. But, what if there were TikTokers you could follow who will simultaneously entertain you and help you prepare for a career as a lawyer? There are several TikTok accounts that provide advice for aspiring lawyers, tips on getting into and succeeding in law school, summaries of interesting cases, and law fun facts! Check out the following six TikTokers, who have a host of content that any future lawyer will enjoy watching:

  1. @averiebishop – Averie Bishop is a law student who shares her wisdom through short vlogs. She has content on how to dress, study tips, time management advice, and “day in the life” videos that give a preview of what your life will look like when you are also a law student!
  2. @cecexie – Cece Xie graduated from Harvard Law and was recently profiled by Business Insider for the success she has seen teaching younger students how to get into law school and land a job at a big firm. Check out her page for content on interviewing, prepping for the LSAT, and more!
  3. @tobywillcocks – Toby Willcoks, an Oxford Law graduate, launched his TikTok account with the goal of making law more accessible and teaching younger students what a career in law would actually look like before they apply to law schools. His page features a mix of advice on interviewing, studying, and choosing a law school as well as short overviews of interesting UK cases that set important precedents.
  4. @lawbymike – Michael Mandell is a graduate of Duke Law School and has a wide range of content on his account, from advice for aspiring lawyers to tips for arguments to advice to people accused of crimes. The account will show you a lot about law school and the legal profession!
  5. @futureattorneyandrews – Meg Andrews is a law student who posts a ton of law-related content on her account! She has videos that detail what a day in the life of a law student looks like, tips for studying and time management, and advice on how to nail the law school admissions process. 
  6. @lawskol – This TikToker’s goal is to show users what being a law student is really like.
