Take Part in Local Events

Binghamton University is a constant hive of activity, but keep in mind that the city of Binghamton and the surrounding areas are also full of activities and events to take part in. Especially in the fall, there are a number of festivals and concerts which are low cost or free of charge.   1. Visit BING – Visit Binghamton is a tourism marketing organization for Broome County. They would like to encourage visitors to discover the historic, cultural and recreational opportunities available throughout the County.
  2. Press Connects – You can take advantage of our local paper’s events calendar and create an online subscription to stay current with local news.
  3. Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce – The Chamber is a membership based organization serving as a resource for business development in the Greater Binghamton area with the goal of supporting existing local businesses and attracting new ones to the region through programs and services.
  4. Local News Channel Events Calendars – Beyond events, these sites are great sources for local news and weather information.
