This event is open to students of all majors who are eager to build their networks, discover new opportunities, and sharpen their skills.

    • Hear from industry leaders and see how art, design and social impact intersect to drive innovation and create change.
  • Brunch/Networking: 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Old Union Hall

Meet the Panelists at the Innovating for Impact Panel

Stacy Newman ’99 –  Executive Director; Principal Data Engineer, JP Morgan Chase

With over 20 years of experience in user and client experience, Stacy leads AI/ML governance, strategy, and data science for JP Morgan Chase’s Employee Data Experience. She has also served as an SME and Ambassador for UX/UI for JP Morgan Chase’s Community and Social Impact programming for the past 5 years. Stacy’s work has spanned major companies like American Express, IBM, and NASA, and she has filed nine patents since 2020! Stacy’s expertise in blending technology, design, and social good will inspire you to think creatively about impact.

Dr. Trang Le-Chan ’99 – Alumni Engagement and Development Director, NYC College of Technology

With over 22 years of leadership experience in higher education and the nonprofit sector, Dr. Le-Chan is a force for community engagement and empowerment. She is passionate about lifelong learning, social policy, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. A co-founder of AAMPOWER, she works to support Asian American women in higher education and serves on several influential boards. Her dedication to social impact and leadership will offer valuable insights into making a difference in the nonprofit sector.

Eric Lynch – Actor (Black-ish, NCIS, Chicago Fire, and more!)

An accomplished actor of stage and screen, Eric has appeared in numerous television series including Queen SugarBlack-ish, and Chicago P.D., as well as films like Widows and Captive State. Eric will be performing the role of Adam Clayton Powell Jr. in a special premiere presentation of Powell: The LIfe and TImes of Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. here at Binghamton University! Eric’s dynamic career in entertainment and his work in portraying important historical figures will shed light on the power of storytelling and representation in creating social change.
