International students join Fleishman Center’s watch party as we host Interstride’s virtual Fall Symposium on November 15 from 11am to 5pm at UU 133A. Interstride is a central career resource hub for international students to find employers and jobs that sponsor H-1B, keep up-to-date with immigration news, and network with other international students and alumni.
While the Symposium is from 11am to 5pm you may come and go as you please. Here are a few sessions we think you may find particularly helpful:
Student Start-ups: Strategies and Pathways (12:00-12:45 pm) – This session will address immigration questions budding entrepreneurs consider and explore work options for entrepreneurs during their studies and beyond.
Stronger Together: How the International Career Collective Serves Students Through Dynamic Collaboration (1:00-1:45 pm) – This session invites attendees to engage in an interactive workshop that leverages dynamic collaboration, the Creative Problem Solving process, and Design Thinking to address real-life challenges faced by international students and the professionals who support them.
Empowering International Students for Success in Business Communication (3:30-4:15 pm) – This session introduces Speech Masters, an innovative semester-long program for international students to enhance their cross-cultural communication skills.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
