Looking to bring career or professional development programming to your members this semester? The Fleishman Career Center’s Student Organization Partnership Initiative (SOPI) is still accepting applications for fall 2025.
Through SOPI, student organizations can receive up to $500 per event to support programs like:
- Career or professional development workshops
- Alumni or employer panels and networking events
- Case competitions or simulations
- Graduate school exploration sessions
- Identity-based career programming
To be eligible, groups must host an event with a career or professional development focus, meet with Fleishman staff for a consultation, and list the Career Center as a co-sponsor. After the event, organizations will be asked to share receipts, submit a recap for a poster showcase, complete a spotlight, and distribute a short survey to members.
Why apply? SOPI funding helps organizations grow their visibility, strengthen their programming, and give members valuable opportunities to build skills and connections. It also provides leaders with hands-on experience in planning, budgeting, and collaborating with campus partners.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until all funds are awarded for the semester. Decisions are shared within two weeks of submission, so don’t wait to apply.
