The Binghamton University Art Museum (BUAM) offers a dynamic internship program in collaboration with the Fleishman Center’s Career Development Centralized Internship (CDCI) Program.

Open to students of all majors, this opportunity provides hands-on experience in museum careers, including:

  • Exhibition Curator
  • Collections Management
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Graphic Design
  • Museum Photography
  • Public Events & Campus Engagement

Interns will:

  • Gain professional skills and an understanding of museum operations
  • Contribute to exhibitions and public engagements
  • Complete a two-credit course alongside 60 hours of practical experience each semester
  • Participate in a culminating seminar to reflect on their work and its impact on their career paths
