Is there a Binghamton University staff or faculty member (apart from Fleishman Center Staff) who has empowered you to identify and reach your career goals, solidify future plans, gain employment, or prepare for graduate school or professional life? Nominate them as a Career Champion!
For the last five years, the Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development has hosted the Annual Career Champions Breakfast, recognizing outstanding faculty and staff members who have gone above and beyond to support students in their career pursuits. If you know of a Faculty or Staff member who made an impact on preparing and reaching your career goals, now is the time to show your appreciation!
A “Career Champion” is someone who has empowered you and other students to:
- Explore career options
- Network with other professionals in your field of interest
- Provide graduate school advice/support
- Connect with employers for jobs or internships
- Interview for internships and/or jobs
- Gain necessary technical and professional skills needed in the workplace
- Learn industry knowledge and tips
The Fleishman Center will be collecting nominations year-around so ensure we recognize the great work they are doing. If a Binghamton Faculty or Staff member provided valuable career support, nominate them today!
Multiple nominations are welcome and should be submitted separately. There is no limit to the number of nominations you can make.
