Join podcast host and career coach Cassie Spencer as she walks participants through her process in the planning, production, and publishing of her podcast “Happenstance.”Skills Lab: Podcasting: Planning, Production, and Publishing (Two-Part Lab)Date and time: Part I | Wednesday, Oct. 9 | 12:45- 2:00 p.m. Part II | Wednesday, Oct. 16 | 12:45- 2:00 p.m. UU108 Registration is required and space is limited. Register in Handshake!Students are encouraged to attend both parts, as the first will cover the planning and production virtually, while the second will cover the editing and recording component. Please bring a laptop for both sessions to participate fully.What to expect:Develop an understanding of episode planning (writing, outline development).Learn strategies for maximizing project planning skills (especially working remotely!).Utilize the software ‘Audacity’ for podcast recording and editing.This Skills Lab is a great opportunity to develop technical editing skills through the use of the Audacity software and to gain insider knowledge into what it takes to plan, produce, and publish a podcast.
