About this Internship
Berko & Associates and its sister private equity arm , Astor Realty Capital are multidisciplinary commercial real estate firms advising public and private companies on lucrative real estate investment opportunities. Astor specializes in direct short-term capital for commercial real estate opportunities in major US markets. We have physical offices in Manhattan, NY & Miami, Florida.
Berko is currently looking to recruit interns for the SPRING 2020 semester.
THIS WILL BE A REMOTE INTERNSHIP.
We are looking for mature, motivated individuals to work within our team on current projects within all aspects of the company whilst gaining valuable knowledge into the Real Estate, Finance & Private Equity industry.
During your time as an intern at Berko/Astor, you will gain an introduction into the commercial real estate brokerage industry and private equity industry as we have also recently started our sister company Astor Realty Capital, a private real estate investment company specializing in short term capital for commercial real estate opportunities in major US Markets.
Activities will include but are not limited to:
· Assisting with research, sales, marketing and business development administrative duties and other correspondence.
· Work alongside and support our Senior Agents, supporting Real Estate, Finance & Israeli Bond related leads and all other research/sales/development related activities.
· Participating in ongoing business development and sales/marketing projects.
· Implementing interactive research, sales, business development and solicitation.
· Inputting of sales and development information into Apto.com
· Generate new leads from prospecting in Manhattan and using well known commercial RE programs to enter into database.
The ideal candidate will be
German Speaking
· Microsoft Office competent
· Motivated, self-driven and attentive
· Interested in making an impact and contribution to our organization
· Strong work and team ethic
· Interest in Real Estate is a plus
This is an internship starting approximately end of November 2020.
This internship will be REMOTE and requires access to a laptop and whatsapp during working hours.
We are prepared and capable to give you a positive internship and learning experience remotely.
The internship will be part time and requires no less than 2 full days work a week (9am-4pm)
Please also note that this is an unpaid internship, but we will provide college credit if possible.
