Interior Designer / Retail Merchandiser (Cannabis Retail)
Job Type: Part-Time Project, Contract, 20 – 30hrs Monthly
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00/hour + $300/day travel stipend
Schedule: Flexible (includes out-of-state travel)

Position Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Interior Designer or Retail Merchandiser to support the finishing design and layout of our new dispensary locations. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to create welcoming, customer-friendly retail environments and has a strong eye for aesthetics, flow, and functionality. You’ll work on-site for store resets, installations, and merchandise displays, with flexibility and travel built into your schedule.
Responsibilities
- Execute in-store merchandising layouts and fixture installations
- Develop and implement product planograms
- Select furnishings and décor that align with brand standards
- Work cross-functionally with construction, compliance, and retail teams
- Travel out-of-state as needed to support new store openings
- Attend weekly planning meetings
Qualifications
- Willing and able to travel out of state for several days at a time
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to rent a car
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs and move at a fast pace
- 10+ years’ experience in retail merchandising, visual displays, or interior design
- Experience creating floor layouts and visual merchandising plans
- Comfortable working independently and in dynamic environments
Compensation
- $25 – $35 per hour based on experience
- Flat $300/day travel stipend
- Flexible schedule
