Summary
Health Information Associates play an important role in patient experience and patient care through accurate record keeping for our patient records. The associate performs various clerical tasks that assists the organization to operate in a responsible manner with patient information.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED-Required
Associates-Related Discipline-Preferred
Experience
Efficient clerical skills required. Basic computer functions and capabilities required. Medical Terminology preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) – Preferred
