As a Digital Engineer, you will learn SCPI and design Labview or Python test programs against existing hardware. You will then test the new replacement hardware using the same tool. You will also be involved in troubleshooting the defective new instrument and correcting the C functions that are not working. This is a growth opportunity leading to greater design responsibilities in the products’ embedded firmware.
And it’s not just design! You will be involved with customer application questions and support manufacturing by design and fabrication of production test equipment and procedures.
And there’s even more! You will work side by side with engineers of other disciplines and together design and produce a long-lasting, quality product.
What You Need To Know
Candidates must have a solid foundation in electronics with a strong knowledge of C with school work in C and structures. PIC processor experience is a plus. Experience at a manufacturing or electronic design facility is a plus, as well as hands-on experience with MPLAB X IDE. BSEE or equivalent.
You must provide an example of your C code from a school project that performed a function of a process. Be prepared to discuss the merit of the code and the reasoning behind the way it was written.
