Student Organizations

The Binghamton UN Association (B-UNA) is dedicated to promoting the values and mission of the United Nations and UNA-USA within Binghamton University and the broader community. B-UNA aims to educate and engage students in global issues, foster discussions on international affairs, advocate for human rights, sustainable development, and peace, and provide opportunities for leadership and community involvement. Through collaboration with UNA-USA, BUNA seeks to support the UN’s work and cultivate a globally-minded student body within Binghamton University.

1. Membership is open to all graduate and undergraduate students of Binghamton University who support the mission of B-UNA.
Suffrage: All members of BUNA in good standing shall have the right to nominate themselves for the board positions, vote for the nominees, and attend the meetings/events under B-UNA.
Discrimination: No member shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination in B-UNA based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, creed, age, veteran status, class, national origin or any other form of discrimination as per law and policy by the University’s Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Policy.
