The purpose of this organization is to strengthen the applications of Binghamton University pre-veterinary students, but we also cater to those looking into careers working with animals in a non-medical sense. Non pre-vet animal lovers are always welcome! Pre-Vet works closely with the Humane Society (small animal) and the Nyala Farm alpacas (camelids). The experiences of our members are unique and will catch the eye of many graduate programs. We host guest speakers regularly at our weekly meetings, but our seniors also give presentations on the application process, suture skills, and other relevant topics. Pre-Veterinary Society is an excellent support system for anyone looking to work with animals!
