It shall be the purpose of the Binghamton Policy Project to bring each student’s innovative ideas into the political discourse and to empower young people as leaders by providing a forum and organization through which their ideas for change can be promoted through a unique form of progressive policy activism.
Our goal is to reform policies, starting at the local level. We hope to create a liaison between the local government and the student body to accomplish change in Binghamton. We hope to raise awareness on the social issues we will be advocating for through our weekly meetings. We firmly believe the discourse we will be creating can initiate a changing mindset that can ultimately change Binghamton for the better. Our policies will directly impact people of Binghamton in a positive way.
