T. Howard Foundation is a nonprofit organization that creates pathways for college students and recent graduates to launch careers in the media, entertainment, and technology industries. Through its flagship Internship Program, students gain access to paid summer internships with leading companies, along with professional development training, mentorship, networking opportunities, scholarships, and career support. The Foundation also offers specialized opportunities through its TECH Program for students pursuing careers at the intersection of technology and media.
Who should use this resource:
Students interested in careers in media, entertainment, communications, journalism, marketing, advertising, public relations, business, technology, computer science, data analytics, or related fields. This resource is especially valuable for students seeking paid internships, mentorship, professional development, and opportunities to connect with leading employers in these industries.
Why it’s helpful:
The T. Howard Foundation provides much more than internship placement. Students selected for the Internship Program receive a paid summer internship, one-on-one mentorship, professional development training, networking opportunities, and access to scholarships and industry events. After completing the program, participants join the THF Alumni Network, where they can continue to access career resources, job postings, mentorship, and professional connections throughout their careers. These experiences help students build industry knowledge, expand their network, and strengthen their preparation for internships and full-time employment.
