Minna

Created by Jeff Nguyen, founder of Bobba and University recruiter for Tesla, Minna is a free resource for students where student communities and fellowships in STEM and technology all come together.

Who should use this resource?

Students who are looking to join skill based communities but have difficulty navigating them or finding those that are free. Students who are looking for fellowships to fund their projects or for support in their education. Jeff mentions why he created this resource. “Free, accessible, and low pressure communities for students figuring life and career out. Communities for students pursuing the specific careers, students coming from shared backgrounds, and students tackling the woes of life together. Communities for people in tech. Communities for people not pursuing tech. Communities that, I hope, can give to you what my community gave to me.”

Why it is helpful?

It is helpful as often students don’t know how to gain experiences and skills in tech or coding and connect with experts that can guide them. For students who have invented new programs, designs, or technologies it may be hard to find sponsors and mentors that can promote their work.
