>> My name is Vaughn Parker. I'm a Fox School of Business graduate from 2010. I currently work at one of the largest consulting firms in the world and I'm an SAP functional analyst and business warehouse developer. So every day starts off with a conference call, for better or for worse, and that is to understand what are the challenges and requirements that a client would be looking for. Once we understand the requirements we tell those requirements to the technical team and then they kind of do further analysis on what is and is not possible. If it's not possible we then have to go back to the functional side of the client and just kind of hash out realistically how do we get the same requirements they're looking for but just in like a different way. We have to do business intelligence reporting so we had to create a report that essentially captured a list of things and actions that the customer had done so in the transactional system if the client would do something they want it to show up in the report. The report had different layers to it. They wanted to capture not just one thing but they wanted to capture roughly about 20 things so for them it was how do I get 20 things into one report? And the question is is can this report really tell me exactly what is real time but it is supposed to be representative of the actions are occurring in the transactional system so due to those requirements you can't just put it on like one report, you have to have what a-- , what's called data modeling in a way that breaks it up so that different data fields are not trying to build relationships with one another.
