>> My name is Bettina Deynes. I am the vice president of human resources and diversity for the Society of Human Resources Management. So SHRM is the largest global Association for human resources professionals. We have about 295,000 members across the globe and our mission is to lead an advanced the human resources profession. Not only I'm supporting our staff are 400 across the globe but also I'm involving many initiatives that with the purpose of advancing and leading the profession. I am the SHRM representative with the international standards organization so I travel abroad on a regular basis to decide on HR standards and on DNI initiatives. I also am CRD&I [phonetic] conference which is the largest conference in diversity and inclusion. This year we will host it in San Francisco. So I'm pretty involved in all aspects of our business and it's very interesting in that-- it's an HR Association so as an HR executive I can sit through a marketing meeting a business meeting of finance meeting and you know they are interested in what I represent. I'm their geodemographic target segment. I am scheduled next month, I will be traveling to Indonesia. I will be in Bali for a few days with the ISL. I was in London a few weeks ago so that's the global component I am very involved in panels and seminars and conferences. We partner with a lot of different organizations and their conferences so we have a presence there as well. But I'm also very much in tune with what goes on in the small SHRM which is the staff. Our 400 strong. So I lead all of the HR function within SHRM and you know making sure that we hire and retain the right people that we offer them with professional development opportunities because you know being HR we are the thought leader in the space but it's important to also be the practice leader. So it's not just what we preach it's also what we do.
