According to Kerschner, the application process is “a journey” and applicants should consider the following as their weigh their decision to apply:

  1. The calling to become a healer and a physician is one of the greatest endeavors that a human can embark upon.
  2. The path you are choosing will include struggle — but also enormous reward.
  3. The process of “becoming” a physician is a journey that should never end.
