Calling all reproductive rights advocates!

Are you passionate about reproductive rights? In the wake of the Texas laws placing restriction on abortion and an increasingly conservative Supreme Court, The Kaschak Institute for Social Justice for Women and Girls is hosting a roundtable discussion titled “Approaches to Reproductive Healthcare and Reproductive Justice” on Friday, November 5 at noon.

This discussion will featue women who work in different fields (including nursing, policyaking, data analysis, and education) disucssing how they have been able to translate their passion for reproductive justice into careers at Upstream, USA. They will also be discussing how they have been able to work on developing a large-scale program that improves access to birth control. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss reproductive rights and how individuals can help this cause in their daily lives.

The panelists include:

  • Jill Sergison, Director of Policy and Strategy (Jill is also still a practicing CNM)
  • Michela Garrison, Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
  • Katresa Jones, Program Implementation Advisor
  • Catherine Read, State Director of Partnerships (North Carolina)
