Summary:
This position works within the Transformation and Integration Department of Corporate Accounting. This position is tasked with the smooth integration of ERP accounting data and processes of mergers and acquisitions as well as moving Energy Transfer Accounting Group from a reactive Data Index and Reporting Model to a proactive Data Analytics Model. This will allow the accounting group to provide top tier customer service and analytics to internal and external customers while seamlessly transitioning acquired data, processes and employees into Energy Transfer. This position is charged with managing a team of specialists and analysts to help foster a community of users in data transformation and analytics applications, champion accounting transformation projects, communicating accounting accomplishments and celebrating accounting achievements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
**Lists duties and responsibilities in rank of importance or time spent doing each job duty. Must constitute at least 5% of an incumbent’s time.
- Manage the integration of ERP accounting data and processes as appropriate for mergers and acquisitions into Energy Transfer.
- Work with internal and external accounting teams to complete working capital true ups and acquired asset valuations as appropriate.
- Through managing a supervisor and a team of specialist, analysts, and a growing community user group, transform the Corporate Accounting processes to be customer driven and responsive.
- Work with the team and other accounting teams in identifying new and emerging technologies that reduce the manual input of data and drive focus on analyzing data, reducing errors and accelerating reporting.
- Identify and keep informed of new and emerging technologies transforming manual processes into automated processes with analytical capabilities.
- Champion transformation initiatives to Energy Transfer accounting functions through various platforms including town halls, newsletter, MyET, SharePoint, etc
- Track and present the reduction of manual processes and drive the increase of useful analytics through the completion of projects/initiatives.
- Represent Corporate Accounting department on non-finance transformation activities to insure there is no conflict with ongoing initiatives.
- Capture and celebrate wins upon completion and satisfaction of transformational projects.
- Supervise and guide staff of Accounting Transformation and Integration as appropriate.
- Remain flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Data Science or related field
- Computer Science, Data Analytics and/or Accounting experience (8 years)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Accounting Software solutions with emphasis on SAP
- Experience with RightAngle, Entero, Quorum
- Knowledge of Data Analytics tools (Alteryx, Redwood, UI Path, Power BI, Power Automate, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL or Python programming
Working Conditions:

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
