Position Summary
We are hiring a full time research technician. This position will have an opportunity of being trained for multiple wet-lab techniques and being a part of exciting research of Alzheimer’s disease and major mood disorders. This is an ideal position for a postbac who wants to get more hands-on experience before applying to medical or graduate schools.
Responsibility
- Working with mice
- Immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence staining, confocal imaging
- Breeding and management of mouse colony
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, biology, physics, chemistry, or other related fields
Preferred Qualification
- Can work for at least 2 years
- Experience with mouse research
- Experience with perfusion and immunohistochemistry
Other requirements
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
