Computer Trust Corporation is a small entrepreneurial healthcare software company. Employees enjoy broad reign and latitude in doing their jobs once they prove themselves, and have the opportunity to learn and master the entire breadth of the software business and make a real difference to our company and to our hospital and commercial lab customers. Our flagship product, WinSURGE™, is the state-of-the-art anatomic pathology lab system, and the only the enterprise system in that market space. Customers include some of the most prestigious hospitals, commercial labs, and multi-site lab corporations, in the United States. We just got a huge up-sell order from a $6 Billion company, to interface WinSURGE Enterprise to multiple lab locations. As a result, we urgently need some strong employees with excellent communications and technical skills, who value and will thrive in a small company environment.

This individual will have direct responsibility for technical support of our anatomic pathology lab customers, as well as an important role in system implementation, client training, and software development. The ideal candidate will blend exceptional skills in technology, business, and interpersonal relations with a passion for delivering highly functional solutions to operational problems. After learning the customer environment (anatomic pathology), there will be an opportunity for capable individuals to grow into Pre-Sales Engineering or Development.

This position requires up to 10% on-site travel, telephone interaction with clients and prospective clients. Strong written and verbal communication in English, as well as technical skills, are required. Previous experience in technical or business roles is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities:

o provide technical support from initial customer call to how-to questions and support programming

o consult, develop and implement solutions to specific customer needs

o implement software

o train users

o do software QA and documentation

o up to 10% travel

Requirements:

o strong verbal and written communication skills – required

o object-oriented programming – required

o attentive to detail – required

o highly effective working independently – required

o effective in fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines while still thorough with details – required

o excellent both at analytical problem-solving and at establishing instant rapport and credibility with them – required

o graduated 4-year undergraduate school with GPA > 3.2 – preferred

o customer support experience with multi-user software – preferred

o consulting experience – preferred

o training experience – preferred

o business experience – preferred
