GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Reporting to the Product Marketing & Training Manager, the Product Marketing & Training Intern will provide support to the Manitou North America team with specific focus on Training Content Support, Digital Materials Organization, Product/Market Research and Product Training Events.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the research of competitive products for both Manitou and Gehl brands.
- Develop individual product knowledge in support of subject Matter Experts and other departments. Become a go-to for basic product information.
- Develop skills in support of production of training webinar/audio/video scripts, as projects require.
- Create corporate presentations as needed.
EXPERIENCE:
- Strong desire to learn.
- Solid understanding of different training and/or product management techniques & channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
EXPERTISE:
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer (Mon.-Fri, 8am-5pm). If available while in school, have the ability to work 10-20 hours per week (depending on schedule).
- Ability to collaborate with a team and work well independently.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, presentations, document creation and digital storage management.
- Effectively prioritize multiple tasks to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Strong attention to detail.
EDUCATION:
- Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor or Associate Degree in marketing, business management, and/or product management degree.
- Student must meet a minimum of sophomore status.
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS:
- Ability to work in a complex network in a matrix organization.
LOCALIZATION AND TRAVEL EXPECTED:
- This position is located in our corporate office, West Bend, WI
- Limited travel.
