Workville is a vetted co-working space with 200+ members, all of whom are major disruptors and thought leaders in NYC. Workville is growing quickly; we are opening a new floor right about above our current floor! Our focus is customer support, networking, team-building and high energy. Interning with us is a great opportunity to work for a growth-phase company supporting an eco-system of growth phase start-ups!

Day to day experiences include meeting members and receiving top-tier coaching from our executive team. Key skills you will gain from the internship include sales, marketing, customer service, brand development, hospitality, tech, and real estate.

During your internship be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and

have the polish and demeanor of a true professional with attention to detail. We are a fun, friendly, professional, fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities include:

● Front desk management – Welcoming guests, directing sales leads, problem-solving member questions, networking with members, and mail delivery. The front desk is a great experience in customer service, hospitality, sales, and marketing – it is the first and last impression for anyone visiting Workville.

● Assisting the Executive team – Including database management, research, and powerpoint presentations.

● Creating and/or researching Social Media and website content

This is a non-paid internship, so Workville also caters part of the internship experience to your needs. Let us know what you would like to focus on during the internship, and we’ll get you involved in whatever you choose! We take the mentoring and coaching aspect very seriously. Internships are also available for course credit.

Requirements include:

High School Diploma

Strong people skills

Ability to multitask

Proficient in computer applications (Specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Social Media

Enterprising personality interested in supporting entrepreneurs
