Founded in 1988, Asian Outlook is the art, literary and news magazine of the Asian Student Union at Binghamton University – SUNY. Conceived and designed to challenge and re-conceptualize forms of awareness of Asians and Asian Americans, it serves to protect the voice of those in the minority, whether by ethnicity, gender, sexual or political orientation.
We work to amplify the voices of anyone interested in using the magazine as their vehicle of self-expression. We are not an Asian exclusive publication.
Asian Outlook is a magazine and media group that strives to be a space of creative expression and inform students on campus of current events and opinions. We accept submissions from the Binghamton University community. We also document special holidays, traditions and practices of the ASU subgroups through our blogs, podcasts and videos.
