Binghamton Bhangra is a high-energy dance team that performs Bhangra, which is a folk dance that originated in Punjab, a state in the Northwestern region of India. It was traditionally celebrated during the Harvest season, but has now adopted a more competitive identity.
Our goals include performing at on-campus events as well as off-campus competitions. Furthermore, we wish to increase awareness regarding Bhangra and Punjabi culture overall.
