GENERAL

Group type: Student Association Organizations

MISSION

We exist to provide students with experiential service learning activities that engage them with the community in which they live. We strive to educate students on the issues of poverty housing and homelessness domestically and internationally. We raise funds to support our own student chapter’s well-being as well as to provide yearly donations to our affiliate organization Broome County Habitat for Humanity.

GOALS

1.Carry out the mission of Habitat for Humanity through fundraising, advocacy, and
volunteerism
2. Serve as a liaison between the Binghamton University Habitat for Humanity Student
Chapter and Broome County Habitat for Humanity.
3. Provide opportunities for students to work with economically disadvantaged people to help them create a better human habitat in which to live and work.
