The Microbiology Club is Binghamton University’s chapter of the American Society of Microbiology, the oldest life science society in the world. We are a career oriented club catered towards those who want to pursue a career in science. We aim to provide our members with a transferable set of skills that can be applied to whatever field they choose to go into – whether that be microbiology or not. Through informational meetings, events, and fun activities we aim to provide a positive environment where members can be with like-minded individuals who appreciate the world of science.
To help expose undergraduates to research at Binghamton University while also helping students with applying to graduate school. Also to get Binghamton undergraduates involved in science outreach events in the Binghamton area.
