Our purpose is to train and field a successful Model United Nations team on par with those of global renown. We will instruct our members on the basics of Model UN and actively promote global awareness, debate skills, leadership skills, and teamwork on campus through varied efforts during the academic year. We are proud of our status a nonpartisan, nonbiased organization, and we will strive to reflect through all of our actions.
In order to build global awareness, at Binghamton University and to build leadership, public speaking, researching, debate, and team work skills amongst our members, as well as to provide a place where can learn about, participate in, and compete in Model United Nations style debate, as well as other related activities, we the members of Binghamton University Model United Nations will strive to achieve these goals and bring pride to the University through our efforts in competition and involvement.
