Rainbow Pride Union (est. 1971) aims to provide a safe haven for the LGBTQ+ community on campus and in the surrounding areas. We provide a space to talk about political issues and bring awareness to different LGBTQ+ issues/topics.
Through various events and activities, we provide social, political, and creative outlets for our members to express themselves. We promote education and awareness concerning LGBTQ issues with an emphasis on the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, culture, religion, and identity. Our ultimate goal is to instill a sense of pride in the LGBTQ community that remains with them throughout their lives.
