The primary purpose of Swipe Out Hunger is to address hunger among Binghamton students through on-campus solutions, policy and advocacy pathways, and student empowerment practices.
We recognize that food insecurity is a concern on this campus, and endeavor to lead anti-hunger and de-stigmatizing programs to meet our long-term goal of ending hunger at Binghamton University. We also hope to foster community engagement with organizations on campus to build long lasting partnerships that aim to help Binghamton University college students meet their basic needs through supporting local resources like the Binghamton Food Pantry, CHOW, and more.
