Funding Opportunity: Classroom to Career Fellows Program
The Classroom to Career Fellows Program provides an opportunity for faculty and Fleishman Career Center staff to co-create transparent and intentionally designed career education opportunities based on faculty goals and student needs within an existing course/curriculum. Fellows and Fleishman staff work together to define how integrating career education into the curriculum will support professional teaching, course outcomes and student engagement in a supportive cohort environment.
Participants will:
- Co-develop career-integrated content for an existing course
- Build a foundation in career education
- Access tools, resources, and adaptable assignments
- Receive support through:
- Brief asynchronous modules
- Interactive cohort workshops and debrief sessions
- 1:1 consulting with Fleishman staff
This program is open to all instructors of every rank and discipline. Completion of the Classroom to Career Fellowship program will result in a $1500 extra service award, split into two payments.
Cohort 1 (Summer/Fall):
- Summer: Identify a fall course to modify, complete foundational career modules, and develop career-aligned syllabus
- Fall: Implement fall course updates and participate in debrief
Cohort 2 (Fall/Spring):
- Fall: Identify a spring course to modify, complete foundational career modules, and develop career-aligned syllabus
- Spring: Implement spring course updates and participate in debrief
