Big Interview
Big Interview is an online, interactive interview preparation platform designed to help you master the unique skill of interviewing. With Big Interview, you can access an extensive library of video lessons, read expert answer strategies, and record yourself responding to tailored mock interview questions. The platform utilizes advanced AI technology to provide immediate feedback on 12 different performance areas, including eye contact, pacing, vocabulary, and filler words.
Who should use it and how?
Big Interview is free for all Binghamton University students. It is an excellent first step to build your confidence before scheduling a live mock interview with Fleishman Center staff or to continue practicing after your appoinment. Whether you are preparing for a job, internship, e-board position, or graduate school admissions interview, this tool allows you to practice in a low-pressure environment.
How to use it:

- Returning Users: Log in at https://binghamton.biginterview.com/ with your @binghamton.edu email address
-
Review and Share: Review your video internally using the self-reflection criteria, analyze your instant AI metrics, or generate a shareable link to email to a mentor, professor, or trusted peer for targeted feedback.
Why is it helpful?
Winging an interview rarely works, and treating it like a casual conversation often leads to answers that are unstructured or overly lengthy. Big Interview is helpful because it allows you to see and hear exactly how you present yourself to an employer before you ever walk into the room. By combining step-by-step curriculum playbooks (like the LGBTQ+ Interview Playbook) with actionable AI insights, you can quickly refine your body language and perfect your storytelling formatting. It provides the unlimited, 24/7 practice space needed to turn your experiences into polished, strategic interview responses.
